Being well prepared and having the right equipment can make a big difference to how much you enjoy a walking holiday. You will be spending time outdoors so it is important to be prepared for the strong Northland sun as well as rain. Many experienced walkers have their check-list when packing for a trip, but as a general guide here’s our suggestion of what to bring.

Massage

We are pleased to offer massage therapy after a day of walking.

Rosie Kronfeld is a Whangarei Heads local and she specialises in Body Tuning - biodynamic craniosacral therapy - a light touch that does deep work.  You can discuss your particular needs with Rosie when you book, or when she arrives.  The cost is $60.00 for a generous 30 minutes.

Our therapist comes to the lodge, and usually sets up in the bunkroom.

Please contact Claire here as soon as possible to book this.
